Today I am going to review the Restaurant, "Shree Rathnam", a South Indian Cuisine, Pure Vegetarian Food Chain. My review is based on my dining in at their various branches, take aways, and Home deliveries. The selection of food items I have had at their different outlets can also be considered a factor influencing my review (about taste and quality of food), however I have tried a lot of variety.

Shree Rathnam

Shree Rathnam is established by core team which is having a vast experience of 35 year with various restaurant chains in all over India. Sagar Ratna broke off into two, namely, Sagar Ratna, and Shree Rathnam following the family feud.

OFFICIAL WEBSITE: http://www.shreerathnam.com/index.php

The restaurant is one of the famous South Indian Cuisine Restaurant in North India. The food quality, aroma, the ambience of the dine-in, packaging, are all extremely good.

Food Quality

The quality of food at Shree Rathnam cannot be doubted! You get exactly what you pay for. The prices are of course moderate, as per any reputed chain, and the food quality is totally amazing. My experience suggests they use good quality spices/condiments, cereals, oil, etc. in their food. Though I am not sure if they have some kind of certificate for that. If anyone can pass that info to my readers, it'd be great.

Taste

The food is totally amazing. I just love their South Indian Food. The North Indian Food too tastes good, but I prefer Shree Rathnam for South Indian food only.

Prices

I have attached a menu of Shree Rathnam towards the end of the post. You guys can consider the prices there. I find the prices in an acceptable range considering the food quality, reputation of the food chain, quality of services, cleanliness and ambience of their restaurants, etc.

I have tried a lot of food items at Shree Rathnam. I have pics of few. I'll share my experience, of all the food items I can remember, with you all.

Mysore Masala Dosa

It is a spicy Dosa. The Dosa itself has a layer of spices on the inner side, apart from the regular Potato-sabzi masala that the dosas generally have. The Mysore dosa are crispy and brown/red on the outside with a bit of a sponginess on the inside. Since Shree Rathnam is pure vegetarian, the sponginess is a result of the spices only. Else the real Mysore Masala Dosa have meat to make the inner layer spongy.

Mysore Masala Dosa at Shree Rathnam is one of my favourites after the Rava Masala Dosa. If you ever visit Shree Rathnam do try their Mysore Masala Dosa.

Tomato Uthapam

Uthapam can be considered as South Indian Pizza! Shree Rathnam's Tomato Uthapam tastes good. They have a very good amount of tomato topping. But I guess anyone who is not a tomato fan, would rather skip it. You can go for Onion Uthapam which is totally delicious and un-skippable!

Rava Masala Dosa/Onion Rava Masala Dosa

Shree Rathnam offers both Onion, and Sans Onion (Without Onion) variants of many of the South Indian Food Items, even Sambhar! So those who don't eat Onion, can definitely go for Rava Masala Dosa at Shree Rathnam. Though I love thier Onion Rava Masala Dosa, it's my favourite.

Sambhar

Mouth watering, filled with tonnes of vegetables, and perfectly 'masaledaar' (spicy). If you are trying South Indian Food, of course they serve Sambhar with everything (you don't buy sambhar specifically). Shree Rathnam's Sambhar is really good.

Chutney

They offer green and red chutneys with all the food you'd buy. The green chutney is the Dhania-Pudina (Corainder-Mint) Chutney and is really tasty. Though I love the red chutney more. I don't know what all the red chutney has, but it tastes like onion-garlic chutney and has a khatta-meetha (sour-n-sweet) taste. With South Indian food, apart from the Green and Red Chutney you'll get the Coconut Chutney. I didn't like their Coconut chutney much. I find other restaurants' Coconut Chutney much better.

Ghee Roast Masala Dosa

This is something you should definitely try if you are not diet conscious/low-fat eating kid. The normal Masala Dosa is ghee roasted and has such a wonderful taste and aroma of ghee that you won't be able to resist once it'll be served to you. It is much much more crisp and oily. So diet conscious people, skip it. Others, do try it once!

South Indian Coffee

I didn't find anything special about it. The only thing different was that it was served in a small steel tumbler. I couldn't differentiate it from any normal filter coffee. So I cannot comment further on it. Maybe somebody else could figure out any difference.

Spring Dosa

I had this a long time ago, so it's not quite fresh in my memory. But I remember it was very heavy, I couldn't finish it. I was feeling overloaded after having 3/4th of it. It was very very tasty and could satisfy any sort of appetite :D But I'd suggest, if you don't eat tooooo much, then order it ONLY when you have somebody else with you who could help you finish it :P

Paneer Dosa

Very tasty, filled with lots of paneer (cottage cheese) and tastes very good. I guess it was the costliest Dosa at Shree Rathnam.

Chhole Bhathure

Not really cool. Only go for it if your a Chhole Bhature fan. Else I didn't find them good at Shree Rathnam.

Dal Makhani

When I ordered Dal Makhani, I was confused about my decision of ordering North Indian food in a South Indian Restaurant. But I liked it very much. But be cautious! They use cardamom in Dal Makhani, and you can experience it's taste. So if you don't like the taste of cardamom in your Dal Makhani, skip it. Else, go for it.

Butter Nan

Didn't expect a true Butter Nan at Shree Rathnam, but to my amazement, I found really good, thin, and crisp butter nan there. Too much butter added to the taste and aroma to the already well roasted Nan. If you are going for North Indian food at Shree Rathnam, go for Butter Nan.

Dine In Experience

Ambience

As soon as you will step in, you'll know you are in a South Indian Restaurant. The aroma of the spicy and delicious South Indian Food would leave you mouth watering and escalate your hunger multi fold even before you are seated! :D The restaurants of the Shree Rathnam Food Chain have a very good interior. At the entrance you'll always find the idols of South Indian Hindu deities and a small temple kind of with glowing dias (lamps), and agarabattis (incensed sticks).

Cleanliness

Very clean restaurant (I cannot say about the kitchen though! :P), clean tables, and clean utensils. 5/5 to their cleanliness! :)

Service

I would say the service is good, I cannot say the best service, but Shree Rathnam offers really good service. The waiters would serve you well, you will be treated well, and you won't have to wait for long for your food. Always remember, if the food is freshly prepared, you have to be a little patient.

Rush

The restaurant is generally filled more than 50%. Whenever I have been there, I have seen reserved seats there, suggesting something good only :) In the peak hours and on holidays, there is a lot of crowd, and you may have to wait for a few minutes before you get a seat!

Take Away Experience

You can go to Shree Rathnam, order food, get it packed, and take it home. You are not bound to dine-in!

Packaging

The packing of food at Shree Rathnam was really good, and I wasn't too worried about food spills while I'd carry it to my home. They pack dosas in butter paper, sambhar and chutneys in plastic bags, use good quality rubber bands to pack the polybags, put everything in large cakeboxes, and then everything in a huge polybag and hand it to you.

Service

I didn't have to wait for long to get my order. Though I have never had a chance to go for a takeaway when there is a lot of crowd in the restaurant, so I cannot comment much about it.

Home Delivery Experience

Shree Rathnam offers free and fast home delivery.

Packaging

The packing was really good, and not even a little but of food was spilled when I got he food delivered to my home. They pack dosas in butter paper, sambhar and chutneys in plastic bags, use good quality rubber bands to pack the polybags, put everything in large cakeboxes, and then everything in a huge polybag and bring it to you.

Service

Generally they'd say they'll deliver in 40 minutes on normal days, and 1 hour on busy days. My experience suggests, they deliver well in time, in an acceptable error of <5-10minutes>.

For Party?

I threw a party at Shree Rathnam 2 years back. I invited around 12 families and everyone ordered whatever they liked. Including all the tips, etc. I had a total bill of 9750 INR (inclusive of all taxes!). Thus, I consider it a budget friendly option for good parties.

Verdict: 4/5

Shree Rathnam specializes in South Indian Food. But since they offer a variety apart from that, I cannot simply say they are totally amazing. Thus, if I'd review only South Indian food, I'd give them 4.5/5, because their Coconut Chutney ain't that good. But when reviewing overall, I have to consider other food items too. Thus, I give them 4/5. I'll say Shree Rathnam is a very good South Indian Restaurant and totally comparable to Sagar Ratna. One can be confused between which of the two to go to. But they both are good enough. So, the verdict is, Shree Rathnam is a very good Pure Vegetarian Restaurant. If you like South Indian food, SHree Rathnam is a good choice to go for.

Western Digital Corporation (often abbreviated as WDC or WD) is one of the largest computer hard disk drive manufacturers (along with Seagate Technology) in the world. It has a long history in the electronics industry as an integrated circuit maker and a storage products company. Western Digital was founded on April 23, 1970 by Alvin B. Phillips, a Motorola employee, as General Digital, initially (and briefly) a manufacturer of MOS test equipment. It rapidly became a speciality semiconductor maker, with start-up capital provided by several individual investors and industrial giant Emerson Electric Company. Around July 1971, it adopted its current name and soon introduced its first product, the WD1402A UART.

WD sells many hard drives with warranties of either one, two, three, or five years included in the retail price, but it offers the customer the option of purchasing a longer (two- or three-year) warranty on its web site. Three years is the current industry standard and while Seagate Technology (a competitor) used to offer a 5 years of warranty for all its drives, it recently moved back to a one-year warranty for its bulk (bare/OEM) consumer-level drives. They also have a replacement policy, where you can replace a broken product with a new one up to 30 days after purchase.

High performance Raptor drives as well as the Caviar Black Series and RE Series still come with a five-year warranty.
The packaging is really good. You can see the images I have uploaded here. The outer box is really good quality cardboard. The inner box is also of very good quality. It is transparent plastic on one side and white opaque on the other side. The compartments are well made to store hard disk, wire, manual, etc.

I still keep the hard disk in that inner box. I really didn't need to buy a case for the hard disk since the inner box is quite sturdy.
The WD My Passport Ultra Hard Disk comes with a nice looking pouch. The cloth is of okay quality, but well you are getting something! :P Don't worry it doesn't look as bad as my photography makes it look. The pouch looks quite nice and you would like to carry your WD My Passport Ultra hard disk in that pouch.
The hard disk looks superb! Really, it is slim, light weight and the design on the body looks pretty cool. Built in an ultra-sleek and stylish design, the WD Passport sports a slim 15.4 mm thick body that makes it extremely convenient to carry it around. The device bears a sturdy body that is designed to last in order to keep your data safe.

Capacity

The WD My Passport Ultra External Hard Disk is labelled 1 TB. Although the computer understands this as 1024 GB (or 1024 x 1024 MB), but the manufacturers give (1000 x 1000 MB) as 1 TB. This is the reason why you get something around 965GB in a 1 TB hard disk. Technically, the drives are labelled using the "decimal definition" of 1000 bytes to the kilobyte, resulting in a perceived capacity shortfall to those used to the "binary definition" of 1024 bytes to the kilobyte, which is how most operating systems report capacity.

While more and more movies, games and shows load your system, this WD Passport Ultra is here with 1 TB of storage space to let you comfortably store all your media and personal data. Just imagine, 1 TB is just too much!
Experience blazing speeds with the USB 3.0 interface that lets you transfer data at up to 5 Gbps while the USB 2.0 interface transfers data at a maximum of 480 Mbps. But that's the interface speed not the data transfer speeds to be precise. I have taken screenshots of the lowest read speed and maximum write speed I have experienced with WD My Passport Ultra External Hard Disk.

Integrating both the USB 2.0 as well as the USB 3.0 connectivity options, the hard disk can be connected to all your USB 2.0 devices to transfer data. The USB 3.0 takes you to the next generation and lets you connect and transfer data at ultra high speeds. The WD My Passport Ultra External Hard Disk is USB powered and you don't need external power to make it running.

The wire quality is very good, though the wire is quite short. You can only attach it to your laptop. If you wish to attach it to your computer's back-USB ports, you have to keep your hard disk on the CPU cabinet only since the wire is quite short. But that's the case with every External Hard Disk. The wire is around 45cm in length, and though it is short, it is quite sufficient. Why I made contradictory statements? Well the wire is actually short, but since you should keep you hard disk stable and don't really need to roam around with it while it's connected (I assume), the wire length is sufficient.

Price

The hard disk is mostly sold in a price range of 4000 INR to 5000 INR (~65.964 USD to 82.45 USD). I cracked a deal at 3800 INR. So I'd say if you get a deal in the slab of 3700-4300 INR, the deal is totally worth it. The hard disk is really good, the design is awesome, and WD is a trustworthy company; so, that price range is really a good deal.

Warranty

The WD My Passport Ultra Hard Disk comes with a 3 year limited warranty. You can check the WD support pages for more info.

Verdict: 4.5/5

I have already said, no room for 5/5 for any device! :D So I am giving my maximum 4.5/5 to this hard disk. It looks good, the design is amazing, WD is a trustworthy brand, the speed is really awesome, and the hard disk is a winner with all those bundled apps in all the domains, be it price, or performance! So as I said, if you get it in a range of 3700-4300 INR, don't think twice before buying the WD My Passport Ultra Hard Disk.
Today I am going to review Strontium Jet USB 3.0 Flash Drive. I am using a 16GB version to review.

Packaging

Sorry, but this time I don’t have any pics of the packed Pen Drive since I bought it way back before I started this blog. So I didn’t take any pictures back then. But I remember the packing well. Remember my review about the Moser Baer Swivel Pen Drive? He packing is similar. So the quality of packing is good, if not great and box packed! But I guess, that’s the case with most pen drives though HP Pen Drives are extremely well packed. So I’d say, the packing is good enough, not great.

Looks

Just take a look at the pics of the Pen Drive I have got for you guys. That’d be enough to prove you that the pen drive really looks cool. I bought a blue coloured Strontium Jet Flash Drive as you can see. The small rope kind of at the other end is one that I attached to it from my former HP pen drive. The Strontium Jet Flash is NOT accompanied with that. In all, the cool blue colour looks cool, my pics might be bad! :P Also I have seen the black variant, it too looks totally amazing!

Build Style & Quality

The Strontium Jet USB 3.0 Flash pen drive is a classic cap style pen drive and it looks real cool. The only problem is that you got to take care of its cap at times! Haha! As if it really matters, but it looks good that way.

The build quality is good. I mean it’s been more than a year since I bought this pen drive and I have carried it to college, etc. many times in my bag or pant-pockets. That means the handling has been both good and rough, but the pen drive has survived even when pressed between 3 books, if you know the size of engineering books, you’ll have an idea how much toughness this beauty has survived! :D

I have used the Windows checkdisk utility to get these specs which I have shown above. You can see the Pen Drive is 16GB. I have formatted it in NTFS and I get 14.8 GB in that case. Sorry I cannot share benchmarking specs for this pen drive since I don’t have the utility installed with me for now.

The good thing is that this pen drive is USB 3.0 This means the new version of USB interface, which is quite faster as compared to the earlier one. The USB 3.0 ports are blue in colour, that’s how you recognize a USB 3.0 device. Although this pen drive has a USB 3.0 interface, the speed is not that high. Though, the speed is good enough to not to be troublesome since most of the pen drive available are USB 2.0 and thus we get the slow 4-5 mbps from most pen drives generally. Hence, a 40-50 mbps pen drive is uber cool! :D

Speed

As I told you guys this pen drive is a USB 3.0 pen drive, the speed is ought to be good, and so is the case. I have got speeds as high as 40-50mbps constant during data transfers from this pen drive, and around 20mbps when writing to this pen drive. However during the time of testing the pen drive for this review I have got the following results:

As you all can infer from this data that the minimum speed of this pen drive (viz. write speed at USB 2.0 Interface) is ~9.2 mbps which is more than that of a typical USB 2.0 pen drive on a USB 3.0 port! This is enough to make you all realize that this pen drive performs awesome speed-wise. And in case you have got USB 3.0 ports on your laptop/computer, well! Then you will be able to see real awesome data transfer speeds.

Reliability

I have stored data for as long as 3 months in one go and have seen it being persistent. During that time I have added and removed parts of data (keeping this test data intact) and found no problems of data getting corrupt/lost. Thus, I believe Strontium Jet USB 3.0 Flash Drive is a reliable external storage device.

Price

I bought Strontium Jet USB 3.0 Flash Drive in February last year (2013) at a price of 569 INR (which is currently ~ $9.344 with $1 = 60.89 INR today). I don’t have any recent prices since I haven’t done a price check on this one since a long time, but since I have seen the price of computer equipment rising like anything in last 8 months, I guess it might not be available at a lower price, if not a higher price than this.

So if you get this pen drive at anything around 500-560 INR, it is a steal deal and you must buy it since the USB 3.0 pen drives are not too common as yet, and hence the price of most of them starts from >800 INR.

Warranty

Strontium Jet USB 3.0 Flash Drive comes with a 5 Years Hassle-free Strontium Limited Warranty. Strontium says:

”Strontium brings you free Door-to-Door warranty service in India in association with Blue Dart, India’s leading courier company. The initiative, a first of its kind by a memory company in India, will serve to enhance Strontium’s after-sales service in the country. Under the offer, users of Strontium products can now avail warranty service from the convenience of their home or office without having to physically visit the retailer.” Read more here

But since I don’t have any experience of their warranty service (and I wish I don’t need it too! LOL!) I cannot comment on it.

Verdict

Strontium Jet USB 3.0 pen drive looks good; the blue colour is totally amazing. With a good speed performance, and reliable data storage, I give this pen drive 4.5/5 because it is well priced. The downside is that, many people don’t trust Strontium and frankly, I myself am not sure how good the company actually is. But honestly, my experience with the micro SD cards and pen drive of Strontium has been good enough to find it moderately trustworthy. It is a good buy, and if you want to buy a good flash drive at a nice price (500-600 INR for 16 GB USB 3.0), grab Strontium Jet USB 3.0 pen drive without much thinking!

On Ear Headphones

Sony MDR ZX-100 is on-ear headphone (also called Supra-aural earphones).
These ear pads on the ear models are designed to perch on the ears rather than to go completely around them. Supra-aural earphones are made with an adjustable band that can be worn over the head to secure the device. There is a pad between the speaker and the wearer’s ears that consists of foam. An example of these types of earphones would be the 1980s Walkman earphones. Many people still use this type of earphone. These earphones may have a closed design but they still sit atop the ear rather than encircling it completely which do have drawbacks.

A nice article about different kinds of earphones can be found here: http://www.ebay.com/gds/What-Are-the-Different-Types-of-Earphones-/10000000177629687/g.html
The headphone is packed inside a transparent plastic package giving a lightly tough casing for your headphone.

The packaging is good enough and was easy to open.

Look & Feel

As you can see in the pics, this pair of headphones looks just too stylish and cool. Moreover, these are available in 3 colours: Red, Black, and Blue. I own a black one, and they look awesome! Though I saw white ones on amazon, but well Sony doesn’t claim any white unit of this piece.

Now that was about the colours. Apart from that, they look simply awesome. The ear pads are not too big, neither too small, thus they look quite nice and sleek because they are perfectly sized.

The foam padding on each ear pad makes it very comfortable to wear these.

The headband is adjustable and for better fitting, the part which should be on the right is marked red and has a letter inscribed “R” on it.

These don’t fall off like most on-ear headphones do, so the wearing experience is overall not only stylish/comfortable, but easygoing and lovable!

Portable & Lightweight

Lightweight, movable earpads along a vertical axis, and a long wire, all this makes this headphone very portable. I have shared the pic here to show you how can one rotate the earpads around a semi-circular region so that you fit them easily in your bag and carry them easily. Apart from that the long wire makes it easy to wear and carry along. The weight is so less that you don’t have to think about carrying it with you anywhere.

Sound Quality

The 30mm driver unit and the gold plated plug make the sound clear, clearer, clearest! When you talk about Sony you don’t have to worry about sound quality/clarity. Sony headphones are defined by these two things. Seriously, in this price range you won’t find a better headphone (unless you find some super-awesome jaw-dropping deal giving away Sennheiser HD headphones at this price!).

Bass

Really, you gonna have an eargasm wearing this headphone. I had an awesome experience with games like Call of Duty, and Need for Speed; Movies; Songs, both country and rock. I heard the song “Don’t you worry Child, by Swedish House Mafia” to test the bass, and I’d say I heard that song 5 times in a row, repeatedly because I enjoyed this headphone so much!

Bass is something you really need when you buy a headphone. Unless you pay a nice price, you’ll have to worry about bass. But Sony MDR ZX-100 leaves you thunderstruck with a bass awesomely amazing when we consider its price range!

Wire

Y-shaped, 1.2 m long wire makes you untangled and move around freely :) Y-shaped cord makes it easy to wear these headphones, and a long wire makes you roam around in style :D

The wire looks thick and promises durability. The place where the wire goes inside the earpad, the connection is tightly held in place by a rubberised tubing/casing making it more durable and tough.

Warranty

This amazing headphone comes with a 6 month warranty. Sony has got many service centres around so you won’t have to roam around for long searching for one. Moreover, since these headphones look quite promising on the durability part, I don’t think you’d have to go for availing your warranty. Mine is already out of the warranty period.

Price & Buying links

I bought these by applying some limited time coupon and got them for an unbelievable price of 580 INR. But if you can get it at anything in the range of 625-675 INR, you are paying a correct price. For a good deal you might need a coupon or something like that. Else since the MRP is 790 INR, I think the pricing I suggested 625-675 INR is good enough to resist.

Verdict: 4.5/5

The pricing is great, and so also the looks. So I’d given it a 4.5/5 stars. Why did I took back half-a-star? Well, how can I give something 100%? There is always something that is missing. As a human being, I always something more! Haha! Like? Umm, yea, microphone :P

The MDR-ZX100 is a perfect choice where it has a slim and folding design for easy portability, suitable for users who seek lightweight headphones to enjoy their music. Comes with 30mm driver units and a high power input of up to 1,000mW for unsurpassed sound quality, this pair is certainly a pocket friendly piece you must own!
There are many different types of earphones. Each type of earphone is designed for a specific type of person who wants to get a particular quality of sound from the device. There are earphones that completely cover the ear when being used and earphones that are simply put inside the ear. The design of the earphone affects its sound and comfort.
The packaging is quite good. Actually the box looks cool. Makes a perfect gift-pack I can say with no need for extra covers, unless you wish to hide the contents.

It was easy to open the box and pack the material back again. On the back side you have features and serial number of your product in different languages.

The inner carton is cool enough and houses the earphones firmly.

What’s inside the box?

I have marked the various things inside the pack to show you what all’s inside the box.

So you got your Philips ActionFit SHQ1000 with 2 sets of extra caps for your earphones. It is bundled with a small carrying pouch which does look good. Though I guess girls would find that pouch more attractive than boys would.

Looks

The earphones have quite a trendy look and the colour combination is just amazing, White-Orange, it looks good. Also if you wear them with a black T-shirt and trackpants, you would certainly look cool! :D

Sweat Proof?

Well, kind of. Actually the caps for the earbuds of the earphones are sweat proof. The overall earphone as such is of course always sweat proof be it any company; it is the speaker which must be protected. In this Philips ActionFit SHQ1000 you will find that the caps do the job good, so yes it is sweat proof!

Sound Quality

If we compare it with the price, it is certainly good. Else, I’d give it a 3.5/5 since if you have ever used skullcandy, you’ll never go for Philips! :P

Bass

That neodymium driver unit does the job good. When you fit them firmly in your ears, well you’ll experience a nice soothing bass. As they say, add fuel to your workout with the bass of the music! :D

Wire Size

1.2 m is less for you? Come on! It is certainly more than enough. The wire length is appropriate. You can do running, walking, use the treadmill; do stretching too without worrying about the wire length being an issue. Of course I assume you keep the device you connect these earphones to in your trousers’ pocket/tied your shoulder. If you are some weird kiddo housing it in your socks, well I guess the wire length will be small for you! :P You got the joke, I suppose! :O

Pouch

Alright my photography ain’t so cool. The pouch doesn’t look as ugly as in the pic I have clicked here:

It looks quite nice and the size is good enough too. The best thing is that you can use it to prevent getting your earphones’ wire getting tangled to something else. Though it is a trendy pouch, but I guess girls are more likely to like it than boys.

Extra Caps

The above pic demonstrates how to replace the cap and how to fit the earphones well into your ears. The extra caps can come in handy if you tend to lose your regular ones, or if you need a bigger/smaller sized cap instead of the already attached one. They are easy to replace.

Philips ActionFit Application

I won’t say much about it since I didn’t use it as yet. But I guess you can find it on the App Store you use.
I bought it at around 450 INR. But I guess if you get a deal anything below Rs. 500 it is a great deal. A deal below 550 is okay. And if you are paying more than 575, you are looted! :P Else the product is value for money till the time you buy it at around 525 INR or below.

Verdict: 3.5/5

Why not more? There are a couple of reasons:
1. While running they tend to fall off your ear.
2. The price is a little higher since it is generally available at more than 550 INR.
3. They could be better
Else, if you are considering to buy them and the deal as I said is priced at anything below 500, don’t think for a second more and buy it. Philips is a great company, and these earphones not only look good but the sound and bass is amazing too. But if you ready to pay around 650-700 INR, then you can search for a better product (NOT SKULLCANDY. BUYING SKULLCANDY BELOW 1000INR IS A WASTE OF MONEY)! I wanted to give it 4/5 for the looks, but well the opinion should matter to as many people as possible, right?! :D

With all that said I hope this review helps you :)

Today I am going to review MoserBaer Swivel USB Flash Drive. I am using 8GB USB2.0 Pen Drive to review, though some broad ones apply to all.

Looks

Talking about the looks, since Red is my favourite colour, I'd say it looks awesome! It is not red to be precise, it is rather, maroon-ish, deep dark red you may say. The body is translucent sort of so you can see the circuitry a little bit. It looks nice overall.

I'd say 4.5/5 for the looks. Why not 5/5? Well, it could have been better, we all have seen decorative Pen Drives, right?

Packaging

Packaging is great. The cuts you see on the pic are because I clicked the pics after unpacking the pen drive. The packaging is good because it is nicely packed and easy to open. Else some tough packed PDs are so difficult to unpack! That's why I say it is nicely packed.

4.5/5 for the packing! Not 5/5 because if the packing was such that I could keep the PD back in the packing after use, like a box type pack, it'd been better.

Price

If you get a deal below 400 INR it is an okay deal, and if you get it below 320, it's real awesome and worth it! I bought it @Rs. 319 so I was quite happy. The Pen Drive is good and reliable so don't worry.

Technical Specs

The above results are through the Windows Checkdisk I ran on the Pen Drive after formatting it in NTFS file system. This flash drive has:

USB 2.0 Interface

8GB capacity(Gives around 7.8GB)

Swivel style

Read Speed, upto 16MBps(According to my tests)

Write Speed, upto 6-10MBps(According to my tests)

56.5x20.8x11.8(LxWxH)mm

10g

CE FCC

Limited Lifetime 2 year warranty

Freebies

MoserBaer these days is selling the PenDrives bundled with a nice freebie. It is offering a 6 month susbcription of Trust Port Antivirus for free with most Pen Drives. The pen drive I am talking about here is also bundled with one. Of course it is just an okay A/V but well, it does add to the value for the money you pay, right?

Benchmarks

I used the Ubuntu Disk Utility on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS for benchmarking the Pen Drive. The images are screen shots of the tests I ran on this Pen Drive.

As you can see the read speed is satisfactory for a USB 2.0 Pen Drive, but the write speed ain't. Though when I ran my own tests with data transfers, I saw the write speed were higher than 3MBps, again satisfactory for a USB 2.0 Pen Drive.

Large File

14.23 MBps

5.87MBps

10MBps

Small Files/
Discrete Data

8MBs

3MBps

6MBps

Warranty

The Pen Drive comes with a limited lifetime 2 year warranty. The warranty is limited to replacement only and does not include direct, consequential, or incidental loss arising out of use of, or inability to use the product. Proof of purchase is required to get the warranty. At most they'd replace your device with a refurbished product(NOT A NEW ONE!)

3.5/5 stars

It is a good pen drive for everyday simple use, like using in office, or with friends, etc. Though if you are a "speed freak" then you should not go for this one. You should rather not go for any USB 2.0 Pen Drive then. For normal users who want to stay pocket-friendly, go for this Pen Drive. It is really worth buying and a good product!

What is Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC

Secure Digital (SD) is a non-volatile memory card format for use in portable devices, such as mobile phones, digital cameras, GPS navigation devices, and tablet computers. The Secure Digital standard was introduced in 1999 as an evolutionary improvement over MultiMediaCards (MMC). The Secure Digital standard is maintained by the SD Card Association (SDA). SD technologies have been implemented in more than 400 brands across dozens of product categories and more than 8,000 models.

The Secure Digital format includes four card families available in three different form factors. The four families are the original Standard-Capacity (SDSC), the High-Capacity (SDHC)[Underlined because my review is considering this one :D], the eXtended-Capacity (SDXC), and the SDIO, which combines input/output functions with data storage. The three form factors are the original size, the "mini" size, and the "micro" size. Electrically passive adapters allow the use of a smaller card in a host device built to hold a larger card.

There are many combinations of form factors and device families, although as of 2014, the prevailing formats are full- or micro-size SDHC and full/micro SDXC.

The SDA uses several trademarked logos to enforce compliance with its specifications and assure users of compatibility.

What is Class 10

It is a specification of the SD cards which refers to the speed of SD card. Similar to CDs and DVDs, SD cards have certain rated write speeds. Class 0 cards are those that were designed before the Speed Class Rating was defined by the SD Association. Class 2 SD cards have write speeds of 2 MB per second. Class 4 is 4 Mbps. Class 6 is 6 Mbps, and Class 10 is 10 Mbps and so on.

Class 10 has following features:

High Speed Bus

Full HD video recording>

HD still consecutive recording

Class 10 cards are the second-fastest group of cards.

SanDisk: A reputed name

SanDisk Corporation is an American multinational corporation that designs, develops and manufactures flash memory storage solutions and software. It was founded in 1988 by Dr. Eli Harari, Jack Yuan and Sanjay Mehrotra, non-volatile memory technology experts. The Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company is based in Silicon Valley and has more than half its sales outside the United States. Its products are sold at more than 250,000 retail locations in more than 100 countries. SanDisk became a publicly traded company on NASDAQ in November 1995. As of August 2013, its market capitalization was over US$14 billion.

Official Website: http://www.sandisk.com/

Price

I bought it in a 'deal of the day' offer, so I paid just 690 INR(i.e., ~12 USD). Yeah, that was quite a great deal that day. But anyways, if you find a deal that is priced reasonably, like -> 16GB SanDisk Class 2 < 16GB SanDisk Class 10 < 32GB SanDisk Class 2 <- can be considered an OK deal :)
Apart from that, if we analyse the value for money thing, well if you need high speed memory then it is certainly a good investment, since it has a good data transfer speed and an awesome warranty of 5 years, yeah that's right FIVE YEARS, I guess it certainly is a good buy :D

Tests Equipment

The following is what I used to do any speed tests that I support my review with(Hover over to know the specs):

Class 2 Card

Class 10 Card

Mobile Phone

USB

Adapter

Comparison with Class 2

I had a set of data which was ~585MB large. It included small files of ~4.60 MB each. The following images can help you visualize the speed of data transfer. I agree the following data is not good enough for this comparison because for Class 2 I have shown read and for Class 10 write data, but still, I hope you know that read speeds are higher than write speeds, which certainly imply how cool a Class 10 card is! So I'd rather say, the data is great, not just good :P Check out the read speed of Class 2 card:
From the above data, it is evident that there is a considerable increase in speed of data transfer. If we take the above data only, you can consider the following table to see the improvement in speed:

Class 2

Class 10

Improvement

8.9375 MB/s

25.73 MB/s

187.88%

Phew! that is a nice improvement, isn't it? :D

The above data shows that inside my phone the speed of card has reduced significantly. But still in comparison to my class 2 card, I'd say it's still a much better performer. I guess my phone's MicroSD car BUS is not compliant for class 10 data transfer rates. But anyways, the card is working fine! :P And also it is evident that the speed is quite high for both flash transfers and wire transfers.

Packaging

The packaging is seriously amazing. I have included snaps of my card so that you can see the original packaging. Also I have included a pic that shows opened packaging for further clarification.
I'd call it a wrong claim and a right claim. Why mixed expressions? Well quite simple! It has a mark that redirects us to the fine printing on the back of the packaging, that states the applications needs to be downloaded! Phew :/

Though I have already downloaded and checked the application. This applications is quite cool. The interface is good and the app is cool too. But a problem that I faced was that, on testing the speed of my card, the application failed to detect that I am using a class 10 card :P LOL!

The bundled adapter appears to be of good quality and well what can I say about it now? It is just another Mirco SD Card adapter! :O I am not sure if there's anything really special about it!

Warranty

5 year limited warranty. No issues as yet so nothing I can say about this one.

Verdict

Yeah, that's 4.5 out of 5 stars. Why not 5 on 5 for this beauty? Well because the App didn't recognise that I was using a Class 10 card >_< and also the card fits into the slots a bit too tightly than the normal Class 2 ones, so it is tedious to remove them once they are placed, which becomes a scary experience(it might break! :O)
Overall, it is a good card and a worth-full purchase if you get a nice deal. For cameras and video recording this is something you really need for the good recording of your 1080p HD Videos.
So if you think that, "SHOULD I REALLY BUY A CLASS 10 CARD": As mentioned above if you wish to record HD Videos(1080p) then you need one. If you have a huge amount of data being transferred between your Micro SD Card and computer, then also Class 10 card would be a appropriate choice. Else if you get it in the cost of a class 2/4/6 :P

And if you read this review just to know whether or not Class 10 is a worthy investment: Well, in simple words, IT IS MORE THAN THAT! :) GO FOR IT!!
Today I am going to review a free Anti Virus which according to me is the best FREE security solution right now. I am talking about Avast! Don’t worry; it’s no longer the lazy music player, avast! has evolved a great deal and is currently a great option to go for.

Security being a big concern these days and inflation being a super big problem burning holes, no not holes, digging pits in our pockets, I guess we are looking for free security solutions. We tend to go for pirated or cracked ones without thinking much about the problems that may surface due to cracked software use. Without delving into details, I would just like to warn you, cracked software might not be safe. They may be, but in most cases they are not. They are known to contain backdoors, spyware and adware software that are all potential malware. If you think uploading that file to virustotal.com gives you a sure shot idea of the fact whether they are good or bad, I must say, YOU ARE WRONG! It is very easy to encrypt an infected file and bypass the security checks of most security suites. So it is better to stay away from using cracked software.

Anyways, our topic of discussion is something else. It is to review avast! and not to give you nice enough speech on Piracy and how bad it is :P I downloaded avast! a few months back when my Kaspersky subscription got over. I thought to come back to Kaspersky or BitDefender at a later stage, but after using avast! for a couple of weeks I’d say, “Although BitDefender and Kaspersky are unchallengeable when it comes to security, but when you use a free antivirus which is quite good you don’t find a good reason to go back to a paid solution. Atleast when you are simple home user.” So I am continuing to use avast!, atleast as long as I don’t find myself unsafe with it. Believe me, the reviews on the Internet and my own personal experience suggests I won’t go back to a paid solution! :D Though, I am in a need of a Firewall now so I am going to upgrade to Avast Internet Security soon.

Looking to compete with both paid and free security suites, Avast wants to create a unified approach to your computer security. Long gone are the days of the quirky interface. Avast is accessible and robust, with an impressive list of free features and strong, though hardly stellar, performance benchmark.

avast! Free Antivirus provides constant virus protection, also called on-access or resident protection, for free. This means that avast! Free Antivirus can completely replace antivirus software from companies like McAfee and Norton that charge for their software and for yearly access to updates.

Pros

Provides on-access protection from viruses and other malware

Includes a "heuristics engine" to detect previously unknown threats

Includes a silent mode to hide alerts during gaming and other full-screen activities

Long history of excellent virus protection

Works with Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP

Super Good Looking Interface! :D

Cons

Cannot be used in commercial environments - home use only

Attempts to install unrelated (but safe) software

Registration is periodically[YEARLY] required but it is free

Installation
During the avast! installation, you're asked to install the free Google Chrome browser and IE toolbar. These additions are not required so if you're not interested just uncheck the boxes. Also, you are required to register avast! to use it more than 30 days but registration is free and pretty simple. You'll also have to re-register once per year - again, for free.

Steps:

Download avast! by clicking the image below:

Run the file downloaded. And follow the simple steps (a little explanation below) to go through the installation process. It would take less than 3 minutes to install it and a minute to register, thus around 4 minutes to get going!

Make sure you uncheck Google Chrome and Google Toolbar installations if you don’t wish to install them since they are not required by avast! for installation.

If you use a booster SSD and want to conserve space on it, you may change the destination of installation, though I recommend not changing it.

The setup offers so many language options that you can tailor the interface language to your familiar one. Thus no boundation to use English only. If you can find a more familiar language you can go for it!

You can read the EULA to make sure you know what terms you agree. You must always read it for all software though I know you all never do. :P

If you use a smartphone, you can also download avast! mobile security for it. It has tonnes of cool features including mobile tracking and other features to prevent information theft. Though some features are paid but most cool ones are free to use, so do consider using it. The best thing is that, you can use same avast account to register that device too! So do install it on your smartphone.

Make sure you do register which takes less than a minute and you will enjoy a full year protection for free!! And once the year is over, all you have to do is register again FOR FREE! Cool, right? All updates, support etc. just register once per year and you are good to go! :D

What do popular websites say?

About.com
avast! is so great because it's a complete tool, protecting you from threats from the Internet, email, your local files, P2P connections, your instant messages, and more. avast! Free Antivirus 8 from AVAST Software is one of the best free antivirus software programs you can download.

PCMag
If avast!'s very good malware cleanup doesn't recognize a suspicious file, its built-in automatic sandboxing can keep that file from doing harm. It's one of several good choices for free antivirus protection, with unusual bonus features like Web reputation reporting and built-in remote assistance.

PCPro
The cream of the crop of free antivirus tools, with great protection, plenty of features and an exceedingly light touch

CNET
When it comes to your security, Avast 8 gets a lot right. It's got a usable, uncluttered interface, solid although not stellar benchmarks, and a set of features that keeps it at the forefront of Windows security. Avast Antivirus 8 Free continues to be a stellar choice for free Windows security, and we enthusiastically recommend it. Few people want security that turns a good machine into the malware equivalent of Swiss cheese, and on that count, Avast has your back. Avast 8 fixes browsers, out-of-date apps (too).

Straight from the horse’s mouth: What Avast has to say about Avast!
Our flagship Avast Free Antivirus is here again. We've made improvements to its Behavior Shield and Remote Assistance, improved the cloud technologies and the energy-saver settings. And we've simplified the UI and added a Software Updater for easily keeping the eye on all your potential vulnerabilities. Plus, there's an optional Browser Cleanup tool for removing pesky toolbars and plugins.

My Verdict
If you are sticking to Windows XP until 2014 when Microsoft will end it’s support, Avast is the best choice to stick with. Security Essentials failed in my tests when I tried to experiment my encrypted malware, rather most of the free ones failed. Though avast wasn’t bypassed by that, nor Avira/AVG. But avast! is lighter and cooler than Avira/AVG, so I’d say go for avast!. Most of the reviews by users and editors suggest it being good and my own experience with this FREE security solution has been too good to not to use it :D And just in case you don’t feel secure in free hands, then I’d say go for BitDefender or Kaspersky.
The link to download avast! follow. I hope my review helped you all. I included popular websites’ verdicts so that you guys could have more faith in my review :P Avast! is quite a good solution and I would say if you want a free solution just download it now!
Just click the image below to download avast! for free Don’t worry it is completely legal, free and safe to use!
It's time to write another review. Today I am going to review the restaurant "Sagar Ratna".

I have been going to Sagar Ratna since so many years now. I have had good, great, and bad experiences with this Restaurant Chain. I have been to a few of it's outlets, so I can do a little comparison sort of based on the year, outlet, type of food, service, etc. With a good amount of experience with Sagar Ratna, I guess I can give a helpful review for anyone who is going there for the first time, or even if you are a seasoned customer :P

I'll be specific to South Indian Food in this review because it's the main type of food Sagar Ratna specialises in. Still I will talk a little about North Indian since I have had it twice at Sagar Ratna.

Sagar Ratna

Let's first take a quick look at Sagar Ratna as a food-chain. Mr. Jayaram Banan, the chairman and founder of Sagar Ratna, in 1986, started the first branch of Sagar Ratna in the Defence Colony Market. The popularity of Sagar Ratna continued to grow rapidly. Within a short span it spread its wings far and wide, Today Sagar Ratna has established its presence in the National Capital Region (NCR) through company owned branches and beyond NCR through franchise outlets. Sagar Ratna has won the Times Food Award-2012 (Best South Indian Restaurant) a feat it has achieved every year since 2006. To bag it all, it has been ranked amongst the best 5 restaurants in India and 450 in Asia by the world renowned Miele Guide.

Official Website: http://www.sagarratna.in/

Food Quality and Taste: 4 out of 5

The food taste is really good. The taste and aroma speaks about the quality of ingredients used, superior! :) You can judge from the smell around that you are near a South Indian Restaurant, but when your taste buds start the super-mouthwatering action, you know you are near a great Restaurant! Similar is the case with Sagar Ratna. The food quality, and taste both are amazing.

Now that was for the South Indian Food. Talking about the North Indian, it is okay sort of. Since they specialize in South Indian food, there's no point sticking to Dal-Nan there. They use cardamom in Dal Makhani, which itself has such a strong odour which overshadows and hides the real taste of Dal Makhani. The Nans are damn perfectly roasted and are just superb in taste. But well, just above average Dal would simply turn you off. This North Indian Food at Sagar Ratna experience of mine comes from 2 branches:

1. Shakti Nagar/Kamla Nagar, Delhi Outlet
2. I don't know exactly, but it's on the Highway to Mathura/Vrindavan

So, I'd say if you go to Sagar Ratna, stick to South Indian Food. Else go to some other restaurant that specialises in North Indian Food :)

Price: 4 out of 5

Well the food is a little expensive. Consider that a Rava Masala Dosa costs Rs. 135 + Taxes and Service Charge! Thus it seems a little expensive, not too expensive though, provided the superb quality and great taste & service. But still why I give it a 4 out of 5 and not something like 3.5 or 3.75? Well, I have a reason and the reason is some great offers by Sagar Ratna. The best one is discussed in the next section.

A good Offer: Breakfast Combo for 4 @ Rs. 199: 5 out of 5 :D

This offer is super amazing! I mean really cost effective and tasty breakfast. I have ordered it twice. The exact money I had to pay was Rs. 245.40 (Combo Meal: Rs. 199, Service/Pkg Charges: Rs. 9.95, VAT: Rs. 26.11; and Service Tax: Rs. 10.33). I agree it seems to have escalated quickly, but well it is so. But still the price is quite good and there is a nice amount of saving than regular bill.

Don't worry about the food quality, it is not marred. It is the same you get for any regular meal. Thus this offer is totally worth it! :)

Dine-In Experience: 3.7 out of 5

Why did my rating suddenly fall under 4? Well simple! I said in the beginning, I have had all sort of experiences with Sagar Ratna, both good and bad. The good experiences come from Faridabad outlet, Rohini outlet, that Mathura Road one, and Shakti Nagar outlet. The bad ones come from Netaji Subhash Place and some other outlet(I don't remember exactly).

From my good experiences: The Service was really good. The food was good, and everything was nice, nice, nice! :D

From my Bad experiences: Either the service wasn't good or the food was worst! The Dosa I had was simply BAKWAS! The reason being that that the potato filled inside it were not of good quality.

Anyways, still my majority of experiences have been good, so I would always recommend Sagar Ratna. To make you guys confident in what I am saying, I can give you an example from last year, November:
I had thrown a huge(huge for me :P) party calling around 35 people at their Shakti Nagar outlet. The bill was pocket-friendly :D and the food was liked by all :)

Home Delivery Experience: 4.5 out of 5

Yes, their home delivery service is really good. They delivered at my place everytime on time :D I mean the time they asked for, within that timespan the delivery guy was there at my door.

The packaging is good which you guys can get a hint of from the pics I have shared in this review. These are from my last week's order. The Dosa's are packed in Pizza-Boxes, Idlis/Vadas in Cake/Pastry Boxes. The Sambhar is in a regular plastic container as above. The Chutneys are too nicely packed depending on the quantity. Once they were packed in good quality polythene bags, the other time in plastic containers.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5

If you want some good to eat, quality South Indian Food at reasonable cost, go for Sagar Ratna. Their service and food, both are really good. There are other alternatives available like Sree Ratnam with equivalent quality of food and service and comparable rates if you wish to go for some other restaurant.

How I finalised e430?

So, I bought my first laptop last year. Why so late? Well, I know PCs are better than Laptops and I don't like wasting money. So I waited until I really needed a computer on the go. The time came finally and my father too agreed to buy me a laptop. I did extensive research and talked to so many people and shopkeepers, read tonnes of reviews on Internet, and messed up my mind, LOL! Though finally I made a decision and thought to buy a HP dv6.

My cousin lives abroad and told me he would buy me one and I can give him money when we meet since the laptops are quite cheaper in his country as compared to India. So I started more research to find something more durable and one that carries International Warranty. Sony was one that I immediately ruled out off the list of choices since the cheaper ones are not durable and durable ones are damn expensive! Toshiba is not too popular in India(even as yet), so I had to give up that also because not too popular implies, bad service(lack of service centres, contacts, etc.) Dell never seems appealing to me, I gave up on that idea way before Sony! :P Moreover, though popular, the reviews of dell(once the warranty expires) are worst! HP doesn't come with an international warranty, and I was thinking of buying a dv6. I gave up that idea too.

Now I was thinking about Lenovo IdeaPad. After much roaming around the city and getting reviews, my father suggested me to look for IBM. I thought oh yes, I never thought about it. I came to know it now sells by the name of Lenovo ThinkPad. I immediately started my research. Found that though Lenovo won't be giving me International warranty, and if I want it I'll have to pay extra. But it's Thinkpad people! their durability is unmatched. Even MacBook stand nowhere when we talk of the durability of a ThinkPad. I was confused between e430 and the tougher option T430, but I thought to go for the less expensive one and bought the e430.

Main Review

When talking about this laptop, the first thing that solves most queries related to durability and quality is to highlight the fact that it's a ThinkPad, the original IBM series. It's been over an year now since I have been using it(I bought it in October '12 end) and so it is perfect to review about it, and I can tell about most things.

Display

14" screen makes it an 'easy-enough' display which bundles the portability by being a bit smaller than the other Edge variant, e530. 14" sometimes sounds small, but when you'll use it you'll know it is the most sufficient one. 14" being lighter and smaller, are even more portable than the 15" ones.

Weight

Didn't weigh it on a scale as such, LOL! It is average when we talk about weight, I guess a little lighter than the corresponding Z series of IdeaPad, as their specs suggest. Though the difference is of few hundred gram, but you know when you have to carry more than just a laptop(as is the case most of the times), this difference even looks like a life saver! Or shall we say, shoulder saver? :D

Battery Backup

I have experienced battery backup ranging from 4 hours(at least) upto 7 hours. Don't think that the laptop would give a high backup from day one, it started giving a good backup after a couple of weeks passed. A good tip from my experience: Use power adapter more frequently than the battery for initial weeks, which I guess all laptop users already know.

Durability

With an experience of more than a year now, I'm in a good position to say a little about Durability(not too much though since I habdle things with care! :P), but it's a ThinkPad, "The Business Standard Laptop", ought to be durable and most reviews on the Internet suggest that. Though my ThinkPad looks as good as new, but as I said I handle things carefully, I won't say much about durability of an expensive thing. Though with my usage(I use it almost all day long) and handling, it seems to be quite durable. I have read many reviews on Internet as I told you all, and it is said that ThinkPad are more durable than MacBook!!! :D

Keyboard

It lacks the Numpad as any 14" laptop, but still the keyboard is amazing. The keys are silent and the keyboard formation is such that it feels quite comfortable while typing. The Trackpad is centre aligned rather than left aligned in most laptops. This makes the laptop surfce around the Trackpad become a good palmrest as I type! :D It has got dedicated media control buttons so no need to drag the pointer to the pause/play button, Volume Up/Down, Brightness, Wifi, Camera, Mic, or Mute! One thing it lacks is a Pause/Break button which I, as a programmer, feel quite sad about.

ThinkVantage Tools

These are a group of software that come bundled with your ThinkPad Laptop. They are great for maintenance purpose, keeping track of battery, etc. and some good utilities, such as added functionality for the Finger Print Reader. More about ThinVanatge Tools, you can find on the Internet, since talking about them is a different thing altogether.

Looks

Something I love! I don't like those glossy laptops, they look irritating. The matte look makes the user feel like using a classy thing, and not something that's common with everybody. So it seems like I have the classier thing as compared to most of my peers! :D To be specific, none of my friends own a Business Series, they all have that glossy consumer line ones! :P So I feel like the king! haha!! :D

Gamers

The only problem is that there is no room for a dedicated GPU in case you wish to upgrade at a later stage. You have to rely on the Intel HD Graphics alone. So gamers! e430 should not be anything in your wishlist. Well, when I bought it there was no option, so I am not sure if they now have a slot for GPU too :) This thing you gotta check on your own, I don't know. Maybe the new e431 supports it, but I am not sure!

Added Features

This Business line of Lenovo has certain unique features that most of the laptops don't have. These include:

Linux Support - ThinkPad supports Linux OS. This means that it is configured to run Linux, which heats up most laptops excessively if not administered by a professional or someone with good knowledge of Linux.

TrackPoint - Perhaps the oldest feature running from the IBM ThinkPad inherited by Lenovo too, makes it really easy to scroll and use pointer with keyboard at times, without the need of a mouse.

Finger Print Reader - haha! It is amazing. I can store my passwords and attach them to one of the 10 digits of my hands. Thus the ThinkPad can record 10 fingerprints and for each finger I can assign a quick link to any of my favourite websites where I need to log in. So I just swipe my finger and the website logs in! No need to enter password again and again and worry about it's loss! :D

Ports

It has got 3 USB 3.0 ports, and one eSATA(that is a USB 2.0 port that can be used even when the laptop is powered off. It is used to charge devices from Laptop battery). Moreover e430 has both HDMI and VGA ports so that you can connect to all sorts of displays easily, so be happy those who worry about their laptop connectivities during presentations! :D One Ethernet port with a Gigabit Ethernet Card which means super fast speed on Wired LAN connections!

Everyday Users(NOT GAMING), My verdict for you
e430 is the BEST choice and worth every penny! It is a better choice than consumer line IdeaPad, or Pavilion g6, or Inspiron(I don't know about XPS or dv6 so I'd not comment). Spend a little extra over that IdeaPad and buy yourself a Thinkpad, a complete package of Class, Quality, Durability and Amazingness!
Mr. Critixhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06843360796181004617noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1836185197977262947.post-51904480789467948442013-10-25T18:33:00.001+05:302013-10-25T18:33:58.913+05:30ManHunt Shaving Cream - Men's Grooming
Hello everyone! I think I have done all the things I had to prior to writing my first review on this blog.

Today I am writing a review of the product: "ManHunt Shaving Cream"

I bought ManHunt Sahving Cream as a filler to avail a discount which needed a minimum cart value during online shopping a few weeks back. I wasn't quite sure of my purchase since I have never heard of the name of this company before, leave alone the product! But then, I wasn't having a good time with the old ones I was using till then. Dettol made my skin dry and so did Palmolive and Old Spice. I did try Vi-John too, but well it was worse. Finally I bout Axe, though before I could try it, ManHunt arrived and I thought to give it a try first.

Lather: 5 on 5

Now, it was an amazing experience, seriously! I didn't expect that. The cream lathers perfectly, I mean just perfectly! As compared to the other ones I have used, I require ManHunt in half the quantity as others. The lather in simple words is superb. It doesn't even over-dries my skin like the others did.

Cost: 10 on 5 :D

The cost part, it is quite pocket friendly and cheap as compared to others :D Moreover when it is required in half the quantity, well it makes it even cost-effective! :) Moreover I think there is a forever 40% extra on the tubes! :D

Smell: 2 on 5

The smell of the shaving cream is just bearable. But when thought to be called good or bad, I would say, it is not good. Although since most people use After Shave lotions, ManHunt Shaving Cream's fragrance is light enough to be easily hidden by any good After Shave Lotion :)

Side Effect

I saw no side effects as such. The packaging said the shaving cream contains Tea Tree Oil which keeps the skin moist and prevents over-dryness. I would say it is true. It doesn't let the skin become over-dried as most other shaving creams did to me.

Brand Value and Manufacturing

I don't know if many people know this name. Atleast this Shaving Cream is not popular in New Delhi, India even though it is manufactured at Wazirpur Industrial Area.

Overall: 4 on 5

My overall experience have been really good with this Shaving Cream and I recommend it to all. I am sure you'll come across it on several Indian Online Shopping Websites :) If they improve their fragrance, I am sure I would never buy any other shaving cream! :D

Myself "Critix", the owner of this blog. I am bringing for you all my own review portal even when I know so many popular and trustworthy ones already exist! I agree my attempt might turn to yet another website/blog in the pool of so many others with similar content, with better writers and which are already scoring high with regular readers, visitors and subscribers, but still I would try my level best to make this place as good as I can. Whatever things I think most reviews on Internet lack, I mean from my point of view, I will try to post reviews which don't lack those things/points.

I hope you all make a wonderful readership to my blog and help me get rid of my deficiencies in writing, post your suggestions and requests to help make this blog better and transform it into a bubbling community of people from all around the globe.

For information related to the content, my disclosure, my blog policy, and my contact, please check the Disclosure Policy Page.

Thank you for your time around here, I hope to be here regularly with new and cool stuff for all of you.

~Cheers and Regards~
